Doug Ross will give a presentation of some work that inspires him
I’ll try to bring along 4 or 5 new images from more recent shoots.

Most importantly, I would encourage everyone who attends to bring something to show. It can be your own work or something that inspires. Even 2 or 3 images would be welcome. And a larger presentation would be great. It’s certainly not mandatory to present work, but the presentations are always the highlight of each meeting.

    Notes from Monday’s meeting

Paul Brady gave an update on the new calendar feature on the website and showed us how to create availability notices and bookings on the group calendar. Members should have received an invite to the calendar in recent weeks. It will hopefully help members of the group organise shoots amongst ourselves. Still hoping to get a body of work created by us as a collective that we can exhibit.

Doug brought along a few books for inspiration purposes. He also gave a couple of presentations.
The first was a set of nude images taken by female photographers
The second was a series by Doug featuring pregnant models

Andy gave a short presentation of some images from 2 recent but very different shoots.

Paul Brady and Vonna showed some work they had produced that morning.

The new venue got positive reviews. It’s a much better size for our group and the projector worked well. The Guinness is pretty good too.

The meeting was mostly looking at and discussing work by members and inspirations from others so no updates on locations or exhibitions for the moment.

The next meeting is set for 15th May, again at The Thomas House.
