ANI Group Exhibition – let’s set ourselves some clear goals this time
Updates on Group Shoot Locations – a couple of potential locations have come up since last month.
Finding a new location for future meetings – for those who don’t know, Nealons is closing down very soon 🙁
Conall McMahon will present some solo work as well as some images from a recent collaboration with Vonna and Michael Hayes.
I’ll also show a few of my images this time – a mix of older favourites of mine and maybe some newer work that hasn’t been seen yet by anyone.
If anyone else would like to show some too then please bring them along. It’s the part of the evening that most people seem to enjoy and I’d certainly like to see more work from both models and photographers.
I may also have a special guest model with me on Monday depending on what time her bus leaves Dublin 😀

Notes from the meeting
Presentations of work:
Conall McMahon gave a presentation of some solo work and also some work with Vonna by Michael Hayes
Andy Ten presented a mix of images from recent and older shoots
Alex talked us through his process of producing composite images with some very interesting examples

Doug Ross gave an update on the Leitrim workshop scheduled for May 5-6 and has since created an event on FB event page for same, shown below https://www.facebook.com/events/512072925848308/
It was suggested that a calendar be set up on the ANI page so members could make their availability known in order to schedule shoots among the collective. With an exhibition in mind, this was considered worth pursuing, Vonna has since followed up with Paul Brady who’s looking to set it up
This was our last meeting at Nealons, for now at least, as it is closing so the other agenda item was a new location.
Vonna and Conall suggested The Thomas House on Thomas St and Vonna has been back to me saying they were successful in getting it booked. The venue has a huge screen and projector, and the charge for the location is a few beers as with Nealons.
This brings us to the date of the next meeting. It’s been booked for 10th April. This is only 3 weeks since our last meeting, but it was available and we’d like to secure it for future bookings if at all possible (and as suitable as it sounds).
